SUPPLIES

Below is a list of the supplies that I will be using for the projects in this course.  However, you are always encouraged to use what you have on hand.

Substrates:

• 2 x 36x48” stretched canvas

• 1 x 30x40” stretched canvas

• 1 x 36x72” stretched canvas

Acrylic paints

• Yellow Ochre – Fluid acrylic

• Payne’s Gray – Fluid Acrylic

• Raw Umber – Fluid Acrylic

• Napthol Red - Golden Heavy Body

• Quinacridone Red – Golden Heavy Body

• Hansa Yellow - Golden Heavy Body

• Prussian Blue - Golden Heavy Body

• Phthalo Green (blue shade) – Golden Heavy Body

• Iridescent Bright Gold – Golden Heavy Body

• Titanium White - Heavy Body

• Titan Buff - Amsterdam Series

A variety of tools, I use:

• Trowel

• Foam Roller

• Catalyst wedge

• Rubber spatula

• Rubber Squeegee

• Filbert brushes (I use size 4, 14 and 16)

• Small bristle brush

• Large Round Brush (Size 50)

• 5” “house painting” brush

• Spray bottle filled with water

• Paper towel or shop towel

Other:

• White Gesso

• Lyra Graphite Crayon, charcoal or pencil will also work!

• Spray Fixative – I use Spectrafix
